Warts & All is the
ArtsNet Mobile Audio Recording project travelling East Gipp
sland making live recordings of everything from spoon-players, garage punkers, singers of light
opera, jug bands, yodelling sheep-herders, avant-garde tape manipulators,
Mongolian throat warblers, tapdancers, Appalachian banjo pluckers,
spoken-worders and singing dogs to pretty much anything you can do to make a
sound.
Assembling makeshift studios of community
halls, back-yards, verandas and spare rooms the end result will be a series of
compact discs. We see these one-off live performances as an opportunity to
