Snap Alley Arts is the performance space of ArtsNet East Gippsland.

Located at the rear of Safeway in a lane off Nicholson Street Mall, SAA has variously over the years served as a warehouse, opportunity shop, offices, and exhibition space. More recently Snap has been host to local theatre, music, poetry readings, and a developing drama project; and has recently undergone an upgrade - including a multi-configuration stage and acoustic curtains - to further enhance the enjoyment for audience and performer.

Throughout 2007 and continuing into 2008 Snap Alley Arts is hosting a range of involving and challenging artistic experiences; which have recently included the Bairnsdale sessions of ArtsNet's Audio Recording Project Warts & All.

ArtsNet is also expanding its Toolbox series. Toolboxes are intensive one to two day workshops offering practical exercises and outcomes in a range of creative fields.

The first of these in 2008, deals with working as a Director for small theatre and small screen productions, with an aim of imparting real skills to professionals and amateurs alike.

Specific dates and prices for the Toolboxes will be available soon.
