Crikey

It's all been happening here in the laneway.

The most noticeable change has been the extraordinary upgrade to ArtsNet's performance space Snap Alley Arts.

A dedicated band of volunteers and staff have transformed  a serviceable but flawed room into one that has attracted immediate praise from performers and performance groups across the region and beyond.

Warts & All Update

Nigh on ten bands and performers gathered at Snap Alley Arts for the 7 July day long Bairnsdale session  of Warts & All. The day was loud, packed with diversity, enjoyed by everyone who attended and was, to quote ArtsNet EO Daniel Jenkins "everything a community arts project day should be".

Warts was also amongst the thirty people gathered at The Butter Factory for the Buchan sessions on 24 August.

You can find photos of the Bairnsdale sessions here.

Jafa Theatre

Jafa Theatre's latest productionTwo Shades of Darkness opened to the public on 17th August.

The two one act plays ran over six performances to 1st September at Snap Alley Arts.

Watch this space for up and coming performances at SAA, or drop us a line to join our mailing list.
